This beautiful one of a kind pendant is created from bubble patterned dichroic glass with a clear cap. Dichroic means "two colors" . Dichroic glass is a NASA space technology where metal oxides are vaporized onto glass.
This pendant has been cold worked with successive grinding to achieve this moon inspired shape. Then the pendant is fused in the kiln at ~1500-1600 degrees. Once it has been annealed (cooled down at a proper temp. for strength and durability), I did more cold work and used a diamond router to create a groove for the sterling silver wire.
The sterling wire wire wrap with the routed edge includes a loop bail so you can slide on your little slice of the moon on any cord/necklace you may own.
This is an one of a kind.
Buy it today for only $40 and I will include the aqua colored rubber cord (latex free) with sterling clasp.
